Some Pentax semi-meanderings -
I think I've mentioned that I'm trying to do a MASSIVE housecleaning
around here. In doing so I ran across a couple of old rolls of B&W film,
one Plus-X and a TMax 400. I thought they might just be rolls I'd
accidentally retracted the leader on, and anyway, they must be OLD, Old,
old!
But I took them in to a local lab that still processes traditional B&W
and still accepts walk-in customers - I lost my darkroom access when I
graduated. Remembered today to go back and pick them up, and lo &
behold, they both actually had photos on them. One thing, they don't do
old fashion darkroom contact sheets.
The TMax 400 roll was from January 19, 2005. I must have shot it with my
PZ-1P. I recognize the location and know what day it was, cause that was
the same day I went to the beach & came back to Raleigh in the evening
to find the city paralyzed by a quarter inch of snow.
But, the Plus-X roll has to have been there since the early 80s. I took
a community college continuing education course several times back then
because it gave me darkroom access for the 8 weeks & the first 5 images
on the roll have to be from one of those classes. I recognize the
instructor in one of them. I didn't need the class, I just wanted the
darkroom access.
I'm pretty sure I used a Pentax Super Program for that class. Which
brings me to my first question:
What is a fair price for a Super Program w/Tokina 70-210 f/4-5.6 zoom
*IF* I want to sell it on Craigslist. I'm going to list it cash only &
use an anonymous throw-away email addy for the contact. But I would like
to sell it, rather than let it continue to gather dust in back of my my
closet.
Another thing - I picked up a SMC Pentax-F 1:3.5-4.5 35-70 zoom today.
$60.00
