Last year, Zab's mother was very enthusiastic about my book of photos telling Zab how much she liked them, how great I was and mentioned all the famous photographers from New York City that she had personally known (Ann wasn't on that list, however, so she can't have known all of the greats). This year, she made a comment that prompted Zab to ask her what each of the photos was about. The answers are both humorous and sad. Barbara is in her late 80's and after a cataract surgery that left her nearly blind in one eye, didn't want to risk it on her other eye. My favorite is probably seeing the train and proclaiming that it is a building in Italy.
