I have not used either, but I think the 77 is much smaller and lighter
but better built.  It also has great bokeh, although this is a little
subjective and some may argue the 85 is better.  I am sure I picked up
that you either love or hate the bokeh of the 85.  As you say the 85 is
faster though - the question is perhaps whether you really need this
speed.

I dont understand why you say the 77 is overpriced.  It is �650 when the
85 is �900.
