Those earlier pics from the work area with the vertical interference line ... Looking @ the images again ... the sensor apparently has a number of frozen/hot (red/green) pixels. Well, we took back the K7 and got a new Kr. Today I took it out to the same area. No pixel issues. No vertical interference banding. No problems at all.
