I am curious as to whether you are putting this out because you see it as a good sample of the capabilities of your new camera (we love new toys, don't we!) and/or as a good sample of your own capabilities as a photographer. I am mostly quite equipment-agnostic when it comes to looking at others' images, and couldn't really care what tool you used. But I do very much like the image! The placement of the couple, the foreground and right-side shadows that provide almost a vignetting feel, the way the lines in the sidewalk work to add movement, . . . Very nice. The self portrait, on the other hand, should probably be put back in the box and hidden on the top shelf in the back of the closet, the place where thieves are likely to look for valuables; this will scare them off! :-) stan -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
