"There is a very slight chance that the recent Coronal Mass Ejection from the Sun will produce aurorae as far south as Texas. There are spectacular displays going on right now. You can catch some on live cameras, for instance, at: http://www.auroraskystation.com/live-camera/9/ Another good resource to keep up with the rapidly changing auroral storm is at spaceweather.com."
