since it sounds like you walk by often ... i'd throw the background more out of focus and/or wank it somehow to keep it's drabness from interfering with the teeth — perhaps a little flash on the teeth would let you darken the bricks?

or position yourself so the shadow on the wall matches the gap between two teach

or how about rotating 90 degrees clockwise (which tricks the eye to give the teeth more separation, due to how the light is cast) and cropping off some of the extra brick?
