The main disadvantage with the MZ-S is the power consumption; one set of batteries last from 20-30 rolls only with normal use. Anyway, this is a situation that calls for the battery grip. With that in place I doubt battery consumption will be a big concern. At least it isn't on my 645n which I suspect draw more power than the MZ-S.
