Given the recent discussion of teaching kids, I thought this episode of "The Grid" was interesting.
Around 22 or 23 minutes in Kelby and Kloskowski start discussing the topic of the value of using Photoshop Plug-ins vs. doing without. This turns into a discussion of the value of teaching B&W film/darkroom work to students in a photography program. Not exactly the "what to teach younger kids" we were discussing, but interesting none the less. <http://kelbytv.com/thegrid/> If you're reading this much after it was written. The exact episode is #40. The stuff they talk about before the topic starts is mildly interesting, but not related to the topic. Keep in mind, he's expressing his opinion. He owns the soapbox he's standing on. I thought the most interesting thing was his quotation of his wife's opinion. gs George Sinos -------------------- [email protected] www.georgesphotos.net plus.georgesinos.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
