That's assuming it works with them, of course. IIRC, Pentax released at least one low-end body that just plain didn't work with anything earlier than a KA-mount (and wouldn't let you use the aperture ring on the lens either). While it looks as though my fears that this might be limited to using SDM lenses were unfounded, I'm not sure that means M42 or plain K-mount lenses will be supported.
