Thanks Brian. I think I will have my 21mm on camera and this lens in my
pocket for a little more reach along with my 135mm. Not too much weight
to carry.

A happy photo, although the odd angles of the human legs is a bit off-putting.
I have one of those FA 35-80s. I used it on my MZ5 but neither camera
nor lens sees much action these days. I don't find the 35-80 range
wide or long enough on digital for a walk about lens. That said, I
thought it performed reasonably well.
I have an old 49mm diameter Takumar hood for a 50mm prime that fits
the FA and seems to control flare adequately.
