I enjoyed it, too. Maybe one cow who doesn't want to end up on the slaughter

Thank you, Frank!

As I recall, she had a very young calf with her at the time, and I wouldn't have pushed my luck with her, slaughterhouse or otherwise.

Thank you, Don!

I momentarily entertained calling it "Cowthulu".

All very ominous and spooky like a slasher movie cow. I admit I kinda

Hi all,

Since I can't get to any of the photos on my old hard drives, I figured
I'd plunk down the $25 for a year of Flickr Pro so I could at least have
access to all the photos I've uploaded. In going through them I came
across this one, which I felt would make a pretty fair shot if I
tinkered with it. It was taken a couple of months after I got my K-x,
before I really knew how to do anything in terms of editing. So, I
downloaded it and tweaked the shadows, highlights and saturation. Here's
the end product:

Promaster EDO AF LD 70-300, f/4.5, 1/2000 sec, ISO 200

I thought it came out pretty well for a $120 long zoom, and that it had
a very dark mood as cow pictures go.
