My 50 1.4 has never been all that great. I got it cheap from KEH (I think it was BGN rated) many years ago and rarely use it. The lens' plastic window over the focus meter is cracked, and there's dust inside the lens. I've been wanting to replace it for a long time, and I don't mind one less stop of light for a new lens with a warranty. Still, it might be better to get it serviced and then sell the A 50 1.2. I just don't have the eyes to focus that lens on a digital camera.
