I have the 77 and like most everything about it (I hate the chrome finish), but I am finding myself going back to the 85mm for a lot of portraiture because the 77 is just too sharp. Diffusers are not the answer, as they can almost always be counted on to make mush out of the subject, which is as ugly and unatural as a too sharp lens. The M85 is a nice compromise. It is a sharp lens, but it doesn't show every pore. William Robb - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
