While we've had a relative mild winter, with little snow & warmer than
normal temps, last week I was up north on the Leelenau Peninsula in
the northern part of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan & happened upon a
group of perhaps 15 or so ice racers on Lake Leelenau, with enough ice
form them to maneuver - they were having a blast.
This particular image is of a DN class ice boat & its owner chillin on
the ice.

That's a great shot, Kenneth. It's certainly a bracing one for those of
us in the warmer climes of the mid-south. We've had a relatively mild
winter, too. We only see frozen lakes during the harsh ones. And we
don't dare park our asses on 'em in a lounge chair when we do!
