I carry it in my bag, always. I have the M version, though. I have no idea how that compares to the A but it is a solid metal and glass antithesis to the megapixel and sharpness cult most people belong to. I put it on my K-5 every now and then to admire the view, to appreciate the shallow DOF, maybe even (god forbid) to make a blurry picture or two. It would be my one and only lens if only I could persuade my family that pictures consisting of 99.9% blur and 0.1% of what seems somewhat less blurry are all the rage. I love its character and the way it makes me feel. I would be hard-pressed to produce a handful decent pictures that I've taken with this lens and if pictures - the end result - were more important to me than the actual picture taking process - the journey - I would probably never use it again. kris -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
