P.J. thanks for your comment. My remarks about the rock picture sounded a lot more snarky or whiny than I intended. I don't know about this internet thing as a communication device.

No one on the list owes me a comment or even a view. I am grateful when someone takes time for even one. The sheer volume here precludes one from giving time to every post. But I have learned a great deal by the responses here to me and others. I value my time spent wading through the posts usually a day behind.

I don't know about woodcut but I guess it does sorta have that back to Grandma's for Thanksgiving feel to it. Looking forward to all your posts.

I post a lot of shots that no one comments on.  I wouldn't take it as a
bad thing.  Most of the time when I don't comment I have nothing
constructive to say, in some cases I have noting destructive to say.  In
this case I simply didn't see it.  On my laptop, the contrast is high
enough that it looks like a line drawing or maybe a modern woodcut.  If
that's what you're trying to achieve then you did it.
