Hello Kenneth, Dan, do notice the background is much brighter than the
chameleon. Hence subject brightness appears to be pretty well
balanced. If you brighten it any further the background too will
brighten, and the beauty of this shot will be lost. Of course you
could selectively brighten the chameleon in Photoshop.
Also most of us watch these photos on our laptop screens which may not
be optimized for brightness, color and contrast.
Great photo though. Please do share the hardware details and shooting
parameters.
