I actually thought that the pigeons added to the scene, but I did not
notice that one pigeon had taken wing and was obscuring one of her
feet.  The shots just before and after this one had more significant
problems, but I wish I could move that pigeon nest to the other one,
or to the upper tight corner or the lower left corner.  Alas!

Why are there pigeons on the beach?  Because Hawai'i has no seagulls,
and pigeons, morning doves, sparrows and Mynas all try to fill that
ecological niche, although they are not as numerous, noisy or annoying
as seagulls.
