You have to judge what the market will bear. Your hourly rate times 10 -- for 
an 8 hour shoot day -- should be a fair price that won't send them running to 
someone else. That's a 25 percent increase in the rate you charge for working 
in your own studio, which is a decent boost for the time spent out of office. I 
would also charge .50 per mile for travel and bill them for lunch if you buy 
your own.
