Thanks Dan, This trestle runs maybe 1.5 miles with oh a 100' drop into
the river valley. The track runs down the middle with the walkway
created by the RR ties on both sides for the repair crews to stand on.
However there is only a hand rail on the one side so they could not pay
me enough to go out there although there are two bump outs to stand on
if the train comes through.
Every year kids go out there and the police have to stand at each end to
wait for them as they are not allowed to go out after them for fear the
kids might fall off trying to escape.
Another interesting note: supposedly the trestle is privately owned and
the RR pays an amount for each wheel that crosses - at least twice a day.

Nice image, with great use of the lines for perspective.
I'm not sure exactly what I am looking at , howvever; is the central
part of the image the ties from an inactive track? What are the dark
objects on the right? Is the other rail between the visible rail and
the fence on the left? I like the mystery of it all
