Excellent job.  If I didn't know better I'd think you knew what you were doing. 
 

For reducing the last bit of slot reflection, could you get a chunk of foam 
core, cut a circle in it and just hang it on your lens when you need it?

Storage is cheap enough, why not shoot raw + jpeg?  That way you can just use 
the jpegs for most of the shots, but when you need a bit more cleanup, you've 
got the raw files to work with.
