This lens always remind me how it was difficult to machine some metal parts
with micrometric precision during school hands-on sessions. It gives some
respect and taste for manufactured objects. Handling a lens with perfectly
adjusted but smooth focusing ring is really a joy in itself. It has a strong
comforting effect taking some photographs.
