I thought the new 40mm had elements that projected out the back and might
conflict with the mirror.  Apparently not.

There was a second K-01 lens, besides the 40/2.8, that was shown in
photographs at CP+ and has protruding rear elements. The focal length
and aperture of that lens have not been announced, though it's
presumed to be wide angle.

I'd be happy if it was a fast (APS) standard. I'd be ecstatic if it were a 30/1.4
