I posted one of the sillier photos from yesterday's photo shoot. What I wanted to do with the chalk was some more classic figure poses. Here is one that I particularly like, though it may not be appropriate for all viewing audiences (you can see the side of one of her boobies): http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/6951695755/
I do quite like some of the effects possible by rendering in black and white, here is the same photo in B&W: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/6951696073/ Throughout the shoot, Sunshine kept eyeing my fluorescent webbing, and Waldemar tied her up in some. Here is one, in black and white, that I rather like the tonality of: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/6807471384/ At first, I thought that the glowing webbing was causing the FA31 to weird out a bit, but I eventually realized that the glow around the rope wasn't from the lens going wonky, but the glow of the webbing reflecting off of her skin. These sets were my first experimentation with the technique. I think that it has promise. Fortunately, it seemed to clean off pretty easily afterwards as well. There were some issues with applying it evenly, and also keeping it in place. I had planned on a light coat of hairspray after dusting the model, but it turns out we don't have any in the house. One series that I want to try now is using the same technique, but with two people dancing, one with green chalk, one with orange. A related issue that I still haven't been able to figure out, is how to make red lasers look red rather than orange. Here's one from when we were playing with my array of laser levels: (This one is SFW) http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/6807199616/ I've run into this before, where no matter what I try with the color adjustments, a solid state red laser, always seems to come out looking orange, rather than red. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
