Miyazaki-san of MS Optical R&D makes a number of small idiosyncratic lenses, including this 35mm version which I own and use on my M-mount cameras: http://www.japanexposures.com/2010/09/06/ms-optical-super-triplet-perar/ This Google entry describes more of his developments: http://camerapedia.wikia.com/wiki/MS_Optical_R%26D The Super Triplet Perar 35/3.5is surprisingly good IMO. Yes, the edges are a bit soft wide open, but Miyazaki-san sure gets the most out of 6 optical surfaces, and the lens is about as tiny as it can be.
