You nailed the exposure/procesing on that one. Everything is nicely saturated without looking overdone.

I suppose that the hotel in the background is tilted so that the rain will run off of it rather than just puddling on the top?

My challenge with this photo is figuring out what it's a photo of.

Isolate, simplify & define

I see at least two photos in there. One is the sea wall, in which case I'd crop out most everything above the top of it (roughly the horizon line) and most everything to the left. I'd probably put the upper left corner just to the right of the man's shoulder. I also might try it in black and white.

The other picture I see, is of the couple walking on the beach, in which case I'd crop in a lot more tightly on them, probably somewhere around the upper left quarter of the photo, to keep the hotel, , or move that down and to the right a bit to keep more of the sea wall.
