The bird image is rather abstracted (given how little of the bird is there) and is in no way offensive to me. Looks like some predator got a nice meal.

The building is not as compelling to me. Seeing close ups of the flaking paint, rust, and metal would be great (looks like it holds many opportunities in that dept) and seeing the hwol building in it's crumblimg majesty (I know - easier said than done) would both be great. But, a portion of a wall is just not as powerful.
