Hi Peter, 1) I think it's listed in the manual, that I downloaded from Pentax USA site. And it works that way too - two leds both flicker when the correct speed is inbetween. I like it more than my K2DMD (where I am not yet sure, even now, what is the correct place for the super-sensitive needle to point at meaning full click speed), but less than Spotmeter V (most accurate readings analogue needle down to 1/3 stop or even less if careful).
2) Yes, same with my Pentax Spotmeter V and other accurate and fast reading (= no memory) meters, (SPD and GPD based probably, as CdS meters wouldn't be that fast).
