I like this, too; but I think it works better rotated 90 degrees. Less vertigo-inducing that way, for some reason.

Numerous hotels tend to purchase locally themed photography for decor, often though out the entire building. I could easily see this hanging in some 4 or 5 star hotel in downtown Boston.
