I'm not a member of photo.net. I do have a flickr account.

I'm not running ad blocking software other than the noscript that was recently recommended here, but I never saw ads for photo.net before I started running it.

I have a hosts file that redirects sites like doubleclick.net to 127.0.0.1, but I usually see the frame where the ad would appear with a message that it can't connect with whatever domain. I'm not even seeing those.

This has come up before and I didn't see the ads then either.

If you're a member of photo.net (the basic membership costs nothing), you won't.
