John I went to Amazon and found 2-3 different shades for mine. I got one rubber one and one hard plastic. They are also the right size for M 50mm & M 28mm. I think the size is 49mm. Less than $10..
i'm happy with the generic metal screw-on hood i got from eBay seller "heavystar" (mentioned by someone on this list); it protects my 50/1.7 well; i was happy to get a similar but shorter hood (this one's Sonia brand) with the Sigma 24/2.8 i recently purchased
