Hi all,

I took the K20D and K-x out again this morning, around 8:00 with the
intent of taking photos of my neighbor training his horse.
Unfortunately, it was the horse's off-day -- so he'll be running
tomorrow morning (weather permitting).

Rather than let the light go to waste, I went ahead and took a
photowalk, and I'm really glad I did. I don't think I've ever had a day
with so many opportunities.

Same configuration as last time: K20D with the A 50/1.7 and K-x with the
Promaster 70-300 f/4-5.6. All of the images with file names containing
IMGP are shot with the K-x and the ones containing _WJG were shot with
the K20D. I'm growing more impressed with that 70-300 all the time.

About 31 images in the gallery, but it's on Flickriver, so it's not
quite so tedious to go through 'em.

Comments, critiques and suggestions are, as always, eagerly solicited.

Thanks!

I'm inspired. I was going to try to do some work around the house today, but after seeing your photos of wild turkeys I think I'll walk downtown and see if there's anyone around the legislature building.

I liked the red-wing blackbird too. I never see any around here.

I'm glad I could serve as some inspiration. But, if you being around the legislature inspires you to go on a Wild Turkey bender, I cannot be held responsible for whatever occurs thereafter. As for the red-wing, this place is practically lousy with them, and they have a way of chasing off the songbirds at the feeders -- including goldfinches and eastern bluebirds, unfortunately.
