No hidden partition ... hard disk manufacturers use 10^9 for a GB while the software uses 2^30 for a GB.

Looks like I'll need to install most of my applications on my 1360GB
(1.5TB) E: drive. I'll eventually add another drive to host Photoshop's
scratch disk, but I haven't decided whether to spring for a SSD or not.

You might also want to poke around the Internet for instructions on moving the C:\Users directory to D:\Users, too, so that saving stuff to your desktop or "my documents" doesn't fill up the boot drive.
