Yeah, you're right, the light was harsh, so bringing up the background a bit 
wasn't possible (with my limited skills anyway).

Bystanders called for help and an ambulance arrived a few minutes after the 
photo was taken. Hope he's okay now.

Poignant social commentary - the deep black around the ladies in the top 
half of the frame is a little distracting, it would be nice to get a 
better sense of what their environment is. But I assume it was taken in 
bright light that darked out their setting.
