Quoting Jens <[email protected]>:

Hello
You guys know a lot. Perphaps this:
Moder caeras store information about a rotated camera and uses the information to show them as the photographer saw them - when shown on the computer - in some applications.

This gives me trouble:
Fotstation don't know this
When I use Fotostation to select the images I want to show to people or to edit - this rotation info is lost. SO when I make a Porta Album they all show up the wrong way.

My question:
Where uin the image file is this rotating information stored?
Can I edit it?

The image orientation information can be edited in an application such as PhotoME.

Looking at some of my photos in PhotoME, there is an editable field under the "Image" tab called "Orientation of Image". You can adjust the orientation to the value you want and then save the edited file.

I just tried changing the orientation of a test image. It works.
