regarding Hobbit Houses... My wife and I used to take walks near the small university here (University of Nebraska at Kearney) and there were three houses side-by-side in one block that we just called the "Hobbit Houses". (My wife is a Tolkien scholar who teaches English part time at UNK, so she/we have more than a passing interest in all things Middle Earth). :) One day, we saw a realtor's For Sale sign in the front yard of one of them and that's All She Wrote.
