Thanks, Bob and Tim.

I got up ar 6:30 this morning to pick up trash for my Rotary Club's
Adopt-A-Highway program. A good way to celebrate Earth Day.

Almost at the end of my stretch of the highway, I was stabbing a piece
of cardboard when I noticed this little fellow sitting atop it. I
carefully raised the cardboard, and the snail climbed right up on my
hand. I placed his on a piece of wood, and then ran to get my camera
before he disappeared. I was fascinated by how far he extended himself
out of the his shell, as well as the thick and obvious slime trail
that he left behind as he traveled.
