I went back up to Stanley yesterday. Actually way past that, as far as Salmon, Idaho. About a 490 mile round trip.
I got chewed out at a gas station in Challis and called a f*****g d**s**t because someone didn't like my driving. :-) The gentleman in front of me, and I, came to a stop sign at the intersection of two state highways. No cars to be seen coming in either direction. He then sat there for about 15 seconds without moving. So instead of blowing my horn I went around him on the left. Of course a second after that he decided it was time to go and he laid in on his horn. He made it a point to stop at the gas station where I was refueling, about a mile down the road to let me know how he admired my driving skills.
