Good for you!  Enjoy using it and know it's not obsolete, just superseded.
As someone who started with an ME, waited for new features then got
the Super Program,
then passed on the 1st version of autofocus (SF1's) and bought a new
PZ-1, that's new
cameras in '76, '83, and '91, 3 new cameras in 15 years.
New cameras intro cycle is a bit disarming.  Prices have gone up a lot, and
a desirable new feature set seems to come along every 18-24 months.
Is this all a plot to separate me from my money?

and works well with flash.  At least, my hobby is not golf at $100+ per round.
