I sure have gotten my money's worth out of my istDS. I only paid $360 shipped new and I have been using it for over 5 years with zero problems...

Yes, I am. The K10D is my primary body but I still us my *istD when I want something small and compact. It's also my low-light body since the K10D only goes up to iso 1600. Sometimes that extra stop comes in handy. So even though it's mostly a backup, the *istD still sees regular use.
