A lot of that 10K cost is for the huge sensor. I could see an entry level 645D 
with a 24 x 36 30 meg sensor and selling for about 5K or even slightly less.  
Of course, like someone else said, a top of the line version with a 60 meg 
sensor is essential to stay competitive. And of course the 24 x 36 version 
could share lenses with the top end cameras.
