Hi Larry, interesting post. If you can saw and file an old focusing screen with split + micro prism collar, get a parts Pentax film SLR with one. They are just great and so cheap. Even the legendary K1000 SE can be bought for $ 30 from evilBay. Now about the Canon 60D gentleman Chris using flash all the time. I am surprised as this camera can take awesome photos w/o flash. Here is why: we were on a 21-day escorted tour of western Europe, the UK and Spain. We had two families with the Canon 60D. I was struggling with my K20D / FA AL 35mm f2 for interior shots - flash not allowed in many of the museums & cathedrals - while the guys with their Canon 60Ds / 18-135 Kit lens were getting great results. I believe there is a setting on the 60D that allows you brilliant photos indoors w/o flash. Bipin - from a far away enchanting land.
