Last week I posted some photos I took of my friend Aeriol, when I used my White Lightning to photograph her gig at a local bar.
I finally had a chance to go back and process the photos of the rest of the band. I hate to say this, because it's a bit of a pain in the ass to use, but the studio strobe seems to have worked pretty well. I apologize for the size of the set, but I was compromising between getting a reasonable sized set for each musician, trimming it down to a reasonable number, and not spending all night deciding which photos to throw away. I'm afraid that I don't remember which photos were taken under which lighting setup. I had pretty much a straight lamp, lamp shooting through a white umbrella, lamp with grid, lamp bouncing off a mirror on the far wall with some spill from the barn door as fill, and even some just using the modeling lamp as a hot light.
