I must admit, Hi Brendan, few issues back of NatGeo there was a photo (I think almost at the end of the issue, not in an article perhaps) of long daylight exposure (it was apparent from motion blurred tree leaves) with several lightning strikes superimposed over it in the background. It could have been computer manip. but I doubt it. The LX would open some very nice possibilities here, setting the aperture just so that it would do a long time without it, say, minutes, but few lightning strikes would close the shutter earlier.
