A young woman, who appears to be of middle-eastern descent, sells bread at the farmers market every week. I've photographed her before, but haven't gotten anything I like, Although I don't know her name, she's a friend of sort, as we've spoken briefly many times, and she always has a smile for me. Most of my previous portrait failures have come when she saw me shooting and became self conscious. She never objected, but always became artificial. This week I managed to shoot her unawares from in from of an adjacent booth.
I don't like the background clutter and may take the time to modify it by removing the green verticals. Anyway, here it is as shot, save for a bit of retouching and a moderate crop to eliminate some foreground clutter.. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=15671867 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
