No. our his rhetoric refers to the manner in which many Nikon and Canon buyers make their choice. This has nothing to do with spending money, which all camera users have to do, and much to do with media hype misleading consumers. Nobody buys a Pentax because of marketing (Pentax dont do any as such), they buy it because they make an informed choice or because they prefer the camera. Many people buy N & C without research or testing because thats what they see marketed and thats supposedly what pro's use. Not all, but many. Paal did not IIRC complain about the way they spent their money, just the fact that they then propogate the marketing myth to other users trying to get informed opinion. They can buy what they want, just dont come back and tell us that what they bought was best when they did not try the opposition for themselves.
