Joe, while technically impeccable, the fact that you were shooting
Super Moon is known only to you. Here are two blog entries from

it's true of all the photos of the supermoon. Take at look at this one,
which is representative:

Photographers all over the world cranked out their biggest lenses and took
shots of things silhouetted against the moon, but they could have taken the
same shot any time and the moon would have looked huge - it's the lenses
that are doing it.

Easier to just Photoshop it in afterwards.
