The fire hall had its open house Saturday, and about a dozen of the
volunteer group took part in a challenge, simulating a fire call from
putting on the bunker gear, tieing a knot, crawling under smoke and
breaking a door down. Then they had to drag a 200 lb dummy, no i did
not volunteer:-), grab a house and knock down 3 targets then climb up
the 75' ladder into the training building, run up a flight of stairs
and them hoist up their water hose.
Timed event and the top 4 did a run off later in the day.
My son in law James partook and was 9th out otf 12th.
