I love the sculpture. To answer Mark C's question, it is Quantum Cloud, by Antony Gormley. Gormley's sculptures are almost always based on his own body, and I think his work is very interesting. He is also an outstanding draughtsman. The great thing about Quantum Cloud, which was on my jogging route before they blocked it off to build the cable car, is that you can never quite make out the shape of the body, but you can feel that it's there in a strange indistinct way. It's quite tantalising - always slightly out of your grasp or comprehension. The scultpure is 100ft high, which gives some scale to the cable car towers, which I also think are rather good.
Interesting sculpture - with varying lighting and changing seasons, it could be the subject of lots of images...
